The Sydney STS Circle is a growing network of scholars, researchers, and practitioners united by a shared passion for critically examining the intersections of science, technology, and society. Based in Sydney, we’re rethinking technoscience from the local to the planetary.

Founded in 2025, the Sydney STS Circle emerged from conversations among researchers across Sydney’s universities who saw a need for interdisciplinary spaces.

We’re building a community where established and emerging scholars can experiment, challenge assumptions, and collaborate beyond institutional silos.
